TORONTO, APRIL 21, 2016 – The hilarious Sean Cullen will host celebrities and friends of Toronto’s Performing Arts Lodge (PAL) at its annual fundraiser SCRABBLE® WITH THE STARS for an evening of fun, food and playing SCRABBLE on April 25 at the esteemed Arcadian Loft.

SCRABBLE® WITH THE STARS is a unique event where each table of four has one celebrity and three guests in a game of words and wit after a luscious supper and a marvelous silent auction, with art created by Canadian celebrities ranging from Jayne Eastwood to Charles Pachter.
SCRABBLE® WITH THE STARS winners receive sensational prizes donated by prestigious theatres, restaurants, hotels and local shops. We hope you can join us. There are a few remaining tables and single tickets are available at $175 to CANADA’S most exclusive SCRABBLE competition. Tax receipts will be issued for a portion of any ticket price, donation or sponsorship.
As stars and guests Scrabble, the competition heats up. Words are disputed and SCRABBLE experts roam the room offering assistance to make the highest scoring words, for a price. Additionally North America’s highest ranked female SCRABBLE expert, Robin Pollack Daniel and former World Champion Joel Wapnick are available for auction to join your table almost guaranteeing high scores! In the end, the scoresheets are handed over to SCRABBLE Master John Chew who tabulates the scores and announces the winners. Don’t miss this super fun event!
Proceeds from SCRABBLE® WITH THE STARS helps further the ongoing steps toward providing assistance to PAL Toronto residents, so they can remain among their friends while receiving the additional care they need.

PAL Toronto operates PAL Place, a unique residential complex in downtown Toronto that many of Canada’s esteemed artists call home. Funds raised through SCRABBLE® WITH THE STARS allow PAL Toronto to create additional support for the growing number of PAL residents who are becoming too frail and aged to care for themselves in their own homes. The proceeds help ailing PAL Place residents to continue to live with dignity in their own apartments, among their fellow theatrical professionals.
